It Broke

And I am the one who broke it.
I love listening to sermons. Actually, I have 13 podcasts that I update and listen to regularly via iTunes. I sometimes listen to other resources, but these are the main people I listen to. They are:
I used to have many more, but I realized I only listened to these frequently.
Here’s the point:
My mp3 player broke and . . .
I haven’t listened to any of these messages in a week!
Yes, I’m a podcast junkie. And I like it.
I think I am experiencing withdraws. I keep looking at my broken mp3 player as I walk past it as if it’s all just a dream.
What is also disturbing is that I had just started listening to the ESV audio Bible. This is the first time I was giving an audio bible a try (was just never appealing to me—I’d rather read), and I was half way through Timothy.
So my quest has begun to find a new mp3 player. I found an iPod touch knock-off for $60.00, it’s just coming up with the $$$ to purchase it.
I’m afraid to say that I may not be listening to sermons and lectures nearly as much as I am used to.
Pray for me as I lament over this untimely catastrophe.

STAY AWAY FROM THE KNOCK OFFS! trust me. They are $60 down the drain. You may want to get another Sansa or Sony. A little cheaper than iPods, but better than knockoffs!
Really? They looks SOOO appealing. Darn.
Oh,
And sell some product at Half Price books. We have done pretty well there lately.
You mean… get rid *sniffle* of some of my *sniffle* books?
Poor Jonathan. It's rough to part with an iFriend…
Right? Now I have to wait until I get some dough to purchase another one. Stinks.
I bought Judi a Sansa Clip for Christmas and she absolutely LOVES it. She had an iPod before that had been in a slow decline. I got a 1gb model… sure, it's not much space, but it's just for podcasts so she updates it once a week. She hasn't filled a quarter of it yet without deleting the old stuff off.
$20 at MicroCenter. $5 more will get you a brand new one online. Sansa's just a great brand.
I had the same model as the one in the picture above. Actually, mine was a Sansa 250, and it was 2 GB. It worked great, but not very compatible with a Mac. I had no problem adding media to it from my Mac, but I had to delete it from my PC because for some reason the Mac adds extra files that can only be seen by a PC. I think I'm going to go with a refurb Sansa, 8GB for 30-40 bucks. I just have to do a little saving.
