Today, I read a post about the house churches in China. It’s amazing how they operate. If you’re like me and have ever wondered how our fellow church family is doing across seas, this article should give you a little perspective. I left this article pretty humbled. There is no way that I could say I am up-to-par in evangelising to others. In China, that is all they do. They gather people and… have church. It is spreading like wild fire.

Something is wrong here. Not with China’s churches – oh no, they are flourishing. In our churches, that is, in America. Maybe it is lack of reverence, maybe it is lack of earnestness. Or maybe, as it is a bold claim, it is lack of the love of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
