Are You Broken?

Broken-1

Humans are natural failures, and to see Jesus is to see God. Who has seen God and not fallen at His feet? Who has seen the Holy One and not seen their own audacious sinful nature? It is when we see Jesus as LORD that we see self as wretched and broken. But to give the broken pieces to Jesus is to place them in the hands of the potter. Though the rough edges of our brokenness may wound His hands, it is by those wounds one is healed.

  1. john edwards says:

Amen, quite a different angle than the one I preached in the wof

  2. Daniel says:

Am I broken? Yes, for all have sinned.
Do I see myself as broken? I confess, often not. The most painful yet rewarding prayer I have ever prayed has been requesting God to break me and let me see my brokenness. But it took a while before I could put my heart into that prayer without recoiling in fear of the possible answers.
